Howdy, Ho! Hope all is well with you. We are counting down the days until the end of the school year. My kids are eager to be set free, although just what they are planning to do with all their free time in the summer is still somewhat of a mystery.
While are wrapping up the school year, many kids are cramming for finals, SAT's, ACT, AP's, and who knows what else. What do you do when you don't know how to help your kids any more? Perhaps you have tried different books, or supplements, but nothing has worked? Time to hire -out! A great resource is www.WyzAnt.com.
WyzAnt is a list of tutors and coaches in your area. It's a nationwide thing, so you can search for tutors anywhere you live. All tutors have to pass certification exams and background checks. They are paid per hour through the WyzAnt site. It is simple and convient. You can find expert people here to help you learn just about anything. These tutors are incredibly qualified, even to the college and graduate levels. Here's a brief list of the subjects available:

Many of the tutors have blogs to contact them and ask questions, or introductory videos available for you to watch so you learn a bit about them before decide to meet. Some even offer online tutoring so there is no travel involved. Students are also able to rate their experiences with the tutor on this site. It's a great resource.
And the BIG news is.............................you can even book a tutoring appointment with our very own "Einstein" Homeschooling Tutoring Dad!

I've never heard of that before! Thanks for sharing this resource with us at Trivium Tuesdays!
ReplyDeleteA lot of children in our place, are reviewing for their exams with the help of a tutor. It really helps and some children ask for help from elementary ed tutoring so they can get better results in school.
