I love decorating for Christmas. The outside decorations are my favorite because everyone can see them. There is something so welcoming about a home decorated for Christmas. I found these inspiring porches on Pintrest and decided to include them this month for my 31 Days of DIY projects.

Beautiful. The ultimate question is, how early is too early to decorate? Well, apparently the rules have changed. I have been visiting Daytona Beach, Florida for a few days. Fortunately, we just missed the hurricane. They are getting blown to pieces right now according to the weatherman.
We were staying in the historic district here. I love Historic neighborhoods.
These great big old trees with the Spanish moss hanging in them are simply amazing. They look like they are decorated that way on purpose.
The porches in the south are absolutely amazing. I have always wanted a porch like this. We just don't have them in Wisconsin.
Of course, we don't have hurricanes either which is part of what keeps me living in Wisconsin.
Then we came across this one. Already decked out for the Holidays. White wicker, little white lights, a white Christmas tree and a bit of greenery. Nicely done.
I admire this spirit. It says " I don't care a hoot about fall, I am going right to the good stuff, and I don't care if you don't like it." It's great to see an individual expressing their personal opinion.
Actually, I have seen very few fall decorations here. Pumpkins are probably not easy to find in this climate.
Do you have a plan for your Christmas decorating?
Not all the homes have porches, this one doesn't, but I still think it's cute.
We don't have a front porch, but we do have a back porch. I am looking forward to getting home and getting to work on it. More to come!
