It's been raining here for days. We rarely have this type of weather, only in the spring. It is such a beautiful day that I thought I would share it with you. Grab your puddle boots, and let's take a walk around the yard..............
There is actually a little town in Wisconsin called Spring Green. It's green there in the spring. Who knew? The most amazing thing in our yard, is the moss. We rarely have moss in Wisconsin. I love the way it looks on the trees. I wish it would stay forever.
Even the lilac bushes are covered with moss. Beautiful.
Things are beginning to grow. My rhubarb is popping out of the ground.
Our little bird house has had some visitors. We are looking for some permanent tenants.
We are in the process of planting my son's succulent birdhouse. More plants are needed, but it's coming along. Perhaps I forgot to tell you that we have this thing for birds. Remember our Re-purposed Christmas Tree? We love attracting birds to our yard.
We are still waiting for the humming birds to come back. I bought this great humming bird feeder from Hobby Lobby. It's a blue mason jar. I love it! Hopefully the humming birds will too. Do they like blue? Hope so!
I brought my Topiary Bunny outside to soak in the rain. He looks very happy out here don't you think?
It was such a beautiful day, I even ate my Vegetable Beef Soup out on the deck so I could drink in the scenery.
I can't wait to plant in this awesome pink watering can that I found in the trash. Can you believe it? In the trash! Today is spring cleaning day for our little town. You can officially throw out anything you want and the city will pick it up in the trash removal tomorrow. I can't wait to hit the streets and look for more treasures after dark! If you see a brunette lurking near your trash after dusk, no worries, it's just me!
You'll have to tune in tomorrow to see what I am up to with this foam mannequin head!
Hope you enjoyed the garden tour!
See you tomorrow!

Isn't spring wonderful!?! I just love seeing things start popping up from the ground. This is our first year in a house and we have a nice big yard, so it's really fun to see what the man who lived here before us had planted that we didn't get a chance to see last year! We have moss on our trees too, but not quite as much as you have =) I didn't even know if it was ok to have it there! I have a lot to learn ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I don't know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you aren't already ;) Cheers!
