Anything Goes Week 9

Hello Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I am itching to give away some more books! First of all for last week's winner....

AMY!!!

Yahooo!

Just so you know, AMY has won my give away before. That's the thing, I love giving away books, and I don't care how many times you win! It could be one or a hundred!

The only rules are:

1) You have to love books

2) You have to leave me a comment in order to win

Is that easy or what?

So, for today's Give Away...

Have you met Mr. Putter? Have you encountered Proverbs for Kids?

You will now!

Proverbs for Kids: The Book

Mr. Putter and Tabby Pick the Pears (by Cynthia Rylant, artwork by Arthur Howard)

Mr. Putter and Tabby Feed the Fish

Mr. Putter and Tabby Make a Wish

Mr. Putter and Tabby Catch the Cold

In Proverbs for Kids, the authors take the book of Proverbs and translate it into silly, fun pictures. It's a fantastic way to teach your children about life's rules. Did you know Proverbs was originally written for parents to teach their boys about life? It's great for girls as well. Any child will love the colorful visual pictures. My kids would BEG me to read more and more of this book. It's also on Carol Joy Seid's list of must reads for your homeschooled child. Also to be on my Best of the Best Homeschool Book List! There are additional scripture references on each page too!

Then for Mr. Putter and Tabby..

Mr. Putter is an elderly man who lives with his cat Tabby. They have the most wonderful adventures together. You see, Mr. Putter is constantly trying to relive his boyhood, but he is old and can't do things the way he used to. Tabby is old too, she is such a perfect imitation of Mr. Putter. Together they Pick the Pears, Catch a Cold and Make a Wish. More titles are available at your local library, but these books are the start of a wonderful collection. Written for early readers, Mr. Putter will be captivating with the incredible watercolor artwork by Arthur Howard.

Just so you know, Tabby has a few compulsive behaviors. She's addicted to fish, kind of like my addition to gardening! LOL!

Leave me a comment to win this collection! A winner will be selected on 4/29/13! Don't forget to register for the Wedding Gown Giveaway! Only one more week!

Stop back soon!
