Today was a beautiful day for a road trip. Nearly 33 degrees and snow flurries, it sure doesn't feel like spring! But, we hit the road and headed over to visit our booth at the Twisted Sister in little Beaver Dam, WI. Beaver Dam has a number of antique shops and thrift stores. It's just a little town, you would never really think of going there to shop, but that's where you can find some great deals.
I love places like this. I could spend all day wandering around. And of course, I could bring home nearly every thing in the place. I fell in love with this stack of vintage suitcases.
I completely loved this set of vintage glasses with the little carrying-caddy. They look adorable on this vintage dart board. Who ever thought of using a dart board on as a tray?
There were scores of colorful things there. I absolutely adored these glasses with the bamboo print on them. Wow. They would be so festive for summer entertaining!
I love the way they used random containers to hold piles of individual alphabet letters. I want this display in my house. I love black, white and silver.
This vintage black china cabinet was full of all things silver and mercury. Fabulous!
Vintage clothes never go out of style, this dress was awesome. I love the accessories. I really want to make one of these for myself. Do you think I would silly with an old camera around my neck? Don't answer that.
That's my chandelier in the front window. I was so captivated by everything in the shop, that I forgot to take pictures of our booth. How could I do that? Guess I will have to go back again next week.
The Twisted Sister is open Wed-Sun. and is located at 112 S. Spring St., Beaver Dam, WI 53916. Phone is 920-356-8984. Stop in when you are in town! (By the way in case you didn't know, Johnny Depp was in Beaver Dam not so long ago to make his movie Public Enemies. Guess that put's them on the map, eh?)
