Are you addicted to any foods? I am. I am totally addicted to Starbuck's Caramel Frappuccinos. I sneak them in every now and then when I am out doing errands or after work on a hot day. There is nothing better, or more refreshing then a cold pick me up in the middle of the afternoon. There are a few problems with this habbit however. One, they are expensive. Two, there isn't necessarily a Starbucks on every corner, so this little habit of mine isn't always convient. Three, if I actually added up how much it was costing me in calories and cash to keep this little habit of mine, I would probably quit. But who wants to do that?
It's easier to find a healthy alternative that I can make myself. So, here it is. The Nutella Frappaccino. I am amazed to tell you that it tastes just like the Starbucks version, only it has more protein and must therefore be healthier. Here's what it takes:
Intek Protein Evolution Cookies and Cream flavor protein powder, Almond Milk, Brewed French Vanilla Coffee (cold is best), Nutella, Whip Cream, Cinnamon and a handful of ice.
Start with two cups of the Almond Milk, add the ice.
Then add a big scoop of the protein powder.
Then 2 Tablespoons of Nutella and 1 cup cold coffee. Whip to your heart's content.
In a tall glass, add the whip topping and a sprinkle of the Cinnamon.
