We are officially moved into our new place. I have been busy unpacking boxes and just getting organized. Those of you who know me, know how hard this is for me. I am one of the organizationally challenged. But, I have finally gotten to the point where I can find most of my important belongings, like shoes and clean clothes for example. So, it's time to get back online. I have lots of new things to share with you.
One of the best things about moving is that you get to start over. With a clean slate anything seems possible. I have dreams of roaring fires in front of the fireplace come winter.
And reading in my big leather chair by the window on cold, rainy days.
I also have dreams of spicing up the kitchen. Not just with food mind you.
Things around here just seem rather plain. Some people like things plain, I am just not a plain kind of girl. You you will soon see.
I will be blogging about transforming this house into something EXTRAORDINARY.
Some of the rooms are so plain, you can't even tell them apart. Not really.
The rooms are spacious and practical, which is great. I just want to spice them up a bit. What's wrong with that? I can hear my husband groaning about it in the other room. He knows me too well.
One of the things we loved about this house was the large windows. I love sunshine.
I also loved the large laundry room.
Yes, it needs a little love. That's okay. My dirty laundry doesn't care what room it's in.
The downstairs bath needs a little love too, it's dark and dreary. We can fix that.
This room looks like a nursery. My teenagers do not need a nursery looking room. We can fix that too.
Even the outside of the house lacks PIZAZZ. That's it, A Walk Through The House.
Tune in each week for updates on our rental transformation. We have a tight budget and are dedicated to the DIY world. We love to do projects in our spare time. First up is dining room. See you next week!
